How CDC is Making COVID-19 Vaccine Recommendations
COVID-19 vaccines will be an important tool to help stop this pandemic. CDC’s Dr. Cohn explains how the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, an independent group of experts, develops recommendations and advises CDC on the use of vaccines in our country and the process for making recommendations on COVID-19 vaccines.

Juniper Family Medicine is no longer open on Fridays. We feel this change allows us to remain independent and relevant in the ever-changing world of health care. It has also been made in an effort to promote a healthier balance between work and life for our providers and staff alike. We will still be able to deliver excellent care in a four-day work week. Should you currently have an upcoming appointment scheduled on a Friday, we will be calling you to reschedule this, you do not need to contact us. While there will not be staff available on Fridays in the office to aid you in refills, referrals, test results or other clinical questions there will be a provider on call for medical emergencies only – as there is currently on holidays, weekends and after hours. We ask that you address those and any other non-emergent concerns Monday-Thursday, 8am to 5pm. We are confident that we can still meet all of your medical needs with this updated schedule and look forward to many years of taking care of our JFM community.
