Elizabeth Carlson, PA-C

Liz is a Colorado native who was raised on the Front Range in Evergreen, CO, but has called the Western Slope home for the last 15 years. Her schooling brought her to both coasts, attending Santa Clara University in California for her undergraduate degree, and Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida for her Master’s degree in Clinical Medical Sciences and Physician Assistant Studies. Liz is bilingual in Spanish and has a passion for travel in Latin America and has been fortunate enough to live in both Ecuador and Bolivia, working with international medical aid programs.

Her first position as a certified Physician Assistant was working in orthopedics at Rocky Mountain Orthopedics, but after delivering her first child with Dr. Campbell, was fortunate enough to join Juniper Family Medicine in 2015. Her interests include general orthopedics and bone health, specializing in fracture prevention and osteoporosis management. Liz likes to play outdoors in Western Colorado with hiking, biking, skiing, and camping with her husband and two energetic children.
